(Go Jamaica) Head of the so called New World Order gang, Horace Ramsey, more popularly known as ‘Pugu’, was yesterday morning shot and killed during a joint police/military operation.
Thirty-one persons were also detained during the operation in the Southside area of downtown Kingston.
The police say a pistol, two rounds of ammunition, a quantity of ganja and a motorcycle were seized in the operation.
The police say the 31-year-old gang leader was involved in a turf war with Marious Davis also known as Bredda Bredda.
They say that the power struggle has been the cause of the recent upsurge of violence in Southside.
