ESPNCricinfo awards set for next month

ESPNCricinfo, the world’s leading cricket website, will again hold the ESPNCricinfo Awards, celebrating the best individual performances in 2010 by batsmen and bowlers in Tests, one day internationals and Twenty20 cricket. This year’s awards, will take place in Bangalore, India, on February 14 and will feature six categories compiled and short listed by ESPNCricinfo’s expert panel. The ESPNCricinfo Awards were established in 2007 with previous winners including Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Chris Gayle.

The awards are picked by ESPNcricinfo’s expert panel – comprising some of the world’s most discerning observers of the game – Ian Bishop (former West Indies fast bowler), Ian Chappell (former Australia captain), and Ramiz Raja (former Pakistan cricketer).

The awards include; Best Test Batting Performance, Best Test Bowling Performance, Best ODI Batting Performance, Best ODI Bowling Performance, Best Twenty20 Batting Performance, and, Best Twenty20 Bowling Performance.
