A group of students
A group of students from the Peter’s Hall Primary School donated $8,995 to the Guyana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) earlier this month. Student Mickele Dodson birthed the idea and she, along with Alliah Corlette, Chantelle Charles and Homalyah Narine hosted fundraising activities to acquire the sum. In a press release the GPSCA extended gratitude to them for their generosity and applauded them for being a shining example to others. It said the money will help it to provide cost-subsidised minor treatment to animals brought into its Animal Clinic and Shelter.
