Dear Editor,
In 1992 the “restoration of democracy” was hailed. Later a national programme for the “reduction of poverty” was launched. Can we dare to hope that some time in this year we will welcome the “restoration of decency in political discourse” as well as the launch of an initiative for the “reduction of dishonesty in public life”?
