(De Ware Tijd) — The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has advised to implement a social programme to support vulnerable groups suffering from its improvement measures. Yesterday, the IMF issued an official statement on the most recent evaluation of the Surinamese economy. According to member of the opposition, too little attention is paid to the social effects of the measures as the focus is on hard figures.
