(De Ware Tijd) — Thrice the amount of gold has been found on the concession of Rosebel Goldmines LLC over what has been mind up till now. In 2008, IamGold took over from Cambior, invested millions of US dollars in new exploration techniques and now has triple the proven reserves of 6.2 million troy ounces on top of that of Cambior that is already depleted. The company will invest an additional US$14 million in exploration in 2011.
