Why can’t the police solve the case of Neebert Isaacs?

Dear Editor,

Policewoman Neebert Isaacs lived to protect people, but got no protection for herself.  Not too different from the murdered Queen’s College girl, Special Constable Isaacs’ battered body was dumped in a canal not far from her residence in Sophia.

The evidence leading to her killer is so outrageous it makes one believe that the murderer wanted to be caught. Why then, are Neebert’s colleagues who wept so bitterly at her full military funeral acting so slothfully in at least appearing to crack this uncomplicated crime.

The murderer has done everything to be fingered in this dastardly death. The clues are not circumstantial or judgmental, but substantial and verifiable.

Therefore, for the suspect to be held and released for want of sufficient proof does nothing  to inspire hope that far more sophisticated offences can be solved.
If those lamentations at Constable Neebert’s funeral were real, then let justice not only be done but appear to be done.

Yours faithfully,
