Dear Editor,
Had it not been for Mr Hopkinson writing in the letter column of SN April 29, I would not have known that GT&T had changed their policy to allow licensed firearm holders to enter their premises to conduct business once they had
satisfied the security check.
I had advocated this consideration since the hysteria by most business places in banning us from entry with our firearms. I trust that others would follow because not only is it a breach of our licence to either leave the weapon in the vehicle or home but we are rendered impotent in
the event we can be of some use should the occasion arise.
