Body found in cemetery identified

Quacey Harry has been positively identified after his body was found in the Le Repentir Cemetery on Wednesday evening.

Relatives had failed to identify the man on Thursday, stating that they had not seen him in years.

Harry, 40, was homeless, they said.

However, yesterday they returned with other members to the Lyken’s Funeral Home, where the body is currently being kept, and they confirmed the identity of the corpse.

This newspaper was told that the corpse was beyond recognition as it was severely burnt and had darkened, after apparently lying in the sun for some hours.

A post mortem is expected to be done on Monday.
