The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) said the crescent for Eid-ul-Adha has been sighted and as such observances will be held on Sunday.
In a press release the CIOG said the day of Arafah will be commemorated on Saturday. It also extends Eid Mubarak greetings to the nation. For more information Muslims are urged to contact the CIOG’s Secretariat on telephone numbers 225-6167 or 225-8654.
