NDIA repairing koker, clearing outfall in Region Three

The National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) is collaborating with the Region Three administration to realign the Windsor Forest koker door that slipped from its groove recently.

According to a Government Information Agency press release pressure built up from the current high tide caused the door to become dislodged. “Stop-logs are being installed to prevent salt water intrusion and effect realignment of the door,” it noted.

In addition, the NDIA’s pontoon is on site and has started to clear La Jalousie outfall to boost drainage in the area.
