Minibus operator charged over malicious damage to property

A 30-year-old man who was yesterday charged for malicious damage to property was placed on $20,000 bail after he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

The allegation is that on August 17 at Longden Street, Georgetown, Kenroy Seales unlawfully and maliciously damagedthe left side back door of minibus PJJ 7827, valued $7,000, property of Lyndon John.

The minibus operator pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him.

The accused who resides at 7-A Laing  Avenue, West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, is expected to make another court appearance on November 14 at Court One.
