The five suspects who were on Sunday held in connection to alleged piracy attacks at Eversham, Corentyne, Berbice are still in police custody, while their boat remains at the Number 66 Fisheries Wharf.
On Sunday police intercepted the grey-coloured fishing boat used by the five men, after it was discovered by some fishermen who recognized it as having been used to carry out a piracy attack on them.
A radio belonging to a fisherman previously robbed was recovered in the boat, along with a quantity of marijuana.
