Block-maker on bail after assault charge

Cement block maker Kenroy Cadogan was yesterday charged with assault at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

Cadogan, 34, of 85 Guyhoc Park, pleaded not guilty to the unlawful assault of Malcolm Hunte, when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton. He was placed on $10,000 bail.

It was alleged that Cadogan committed the offence on August 7. No details of what transpired on the day of the assault were provided to the court.

Cadogan, who was unrepresented, applied for bail and it was granted as the prosecution had no objection.

The case was transferred to Court One and adjourned until September 28.
