Man charged with wounding boy, 15

A man was yesterday accused of wounding a 15-year-old boy and threatening to kill him.

Brian Jordan was released on $40,000 bail by Magistrate Faith McGusty, after pleading not guilty to both charges.

Although the prosecution had no objection to bail, it asked that Jordan stay away from the juvenile, pending the determination of the matter.

It was alleged that Jordan, 42, of Lot 318 North East La Penitence, unlawfully and maliciously wounded the boy, so as to cause him actual bodily harm on October 16 in Georgetown. He was also accused of using threatening language towards the boy, whereby a breach of the peace was occasioned.

The case will be called again in Court One today.
