The National Gymnasium is set to come alive next weekend when boxing fans from across the three counties meet for the GABA annual National Intermediate Championships.
Guyana Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) Technical Director Terrence Poole said boxers Joel Williamson, Jamal Eastman, Travis Hubbard and Dawani Lampkin are billed to participate. He also said boxers from gyms in Berbice, Essequibo, Linden, Port Kaituma, the East Coast and East Bank Demerara will also take part.
Poole also announced yesterday that only boxers who have not won nor reached the final of a National Open Championships can take part.
