The President’s XI rubbed salt into Demerara’s wounds by also removing Chanderpaul Hemraj and Joseph Perry with both batsmen failing to come off the mark. Daniels was the pick of the bowlers with 3-34 while Brandon Bess collected 1-24.

At Wales in the other match between GT&T Berbice and Essequibo, ran only allowed 90 minutes of play with Essequibo ending on 123-9 after resuming on their overnight score of 55-3.

The GT&T Berbice bowlers were denied the opportunity to bowl out Essequibo as play began at 3:30 pm. and finished promptly at 5pm.

Essequibo resumed with Ricardo Adams not out on five and Herell Greene, 14 not out at the wicket but both batsmen failed to contribute meaningfully to their team’s cause.
