Nicholas Ali and Narayan Ramdhani will meet in the men’s singles final of the GUMDAC badminton tournament following play in the semi-finals on Monday at the Queen’s College badminton courts.
In Monday’s semi-finals national senior champion Ali defeated Darrell Carpenay 21-9 and 21-10 while Ramdhani, the national junior champion defeated Jonathan Mangra 21-10 and 21-6.
The women’s singles final will be between Ambika Ramraj and Priyanna Ramdhani.
In the semi-finals, Ramraj defeated Arian Kayume 21-10 and 21-6 while Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Nadine Jairam 21-4, 21-7.

The finals will commence at 6pm tomorrow following which there will the presentation of prizes to the winners, runner-ups and third place finishers.
