A 13-year-old boy of Airy Hall, Mahaicony died after he was struck down by a speeding car around 6 pm yesterday.
Reports are that the child, Troy Abrams was bleeding through the nose and mouth and appeared to have died on the spot.
A relative told Stabroek News that the boy was standing in the corner of the road when he met his demise.
He said that at the time, Abrams, a student of the secondary department of Novar Primary School was going to visit his father, Horlan Abrams in another section of the village.
