The police say they are investigating the suspected murder of an unidentified male Amerindian, in his twenties, whose body was found at about 0600h. today on the roadway at Mahdia with marks of violence to his head.
The body is at the Mahdia Hospital Mortuary.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations, police said.
