Guyana to play CCC, Jamaica under lights

ST JOHN’S, Antigua,  CMC – Guyana will play under lights when they host Combined Campuses and Colleges and Jamaica in the Regional Super50 Championship next month, the West Indies Cricket Board has confirmed.

Both matches – sixth and seventh round encounters – were originally scheduled to be played away from home but were this week shifted to the National Stadium at Providence.

The games represent the first time in two seasons Guyana will play at home since the WICB took the decision to abandon fixtures at Providence following the government-run Interim Management Committee takeover of cricket in the country.

Guyana, who have drawn a bye for round five of the regional season, will face CCC on April 4 and Jamaica on April 7.
The competition is currently enjoying a mid-season break.

Guyana will also remain at home for the corresponding sixth and seventh round Regional Four-Day contests, also against CCC and Jamaica.
