President Donald Ramotar has assented to the Appropriation Bill as amended to reflect some $31.4 billion in budget cuts, Presidential Advisor Gail Teixeira told Stabroek News yesterday.
On April 24, 2013 the amended Appropriation Bill was passed in the National Assembly following the wrapping up of consideration of the estimates. The budget was originally pegged at $208.8 billion.
