ST. JOHN’S , Antigua, CMC-St.Kitts will host the Regional Under 19 cricket tournament this year but the start of the event is being pushed back by a week to facilitate training camps, the West Indies Cricket Board announced yesterday.
The premier age group tournament, originally carded for July 10th to August 10th, will now be played from July 17th to August 21st.
A WICB statement said the schedule has been pushed back by a week to accommodate preparatory camps of the various teams.
An ICC Americas Under 21 Team will participate in the 50 Over leg of the Under 19 tournament.
The WICB says that players must be under the age of 19 before the first of September 2013.
