Fudadin, Edwards smash tons as Windies A makes strong reply

BASSETERRE, St Kitts, CMC – Opener Assad Fudadin and skipper Kirk Edwards  smashed centuries as West Indies `A’, responding to Sri Lanka `A’s 472 all out, reached 496 for five in their first innings at the close of the third day of the first four-day “Test” at Warner Park here yesterday.

Edwards struck 189 and Fudadin 145 as the West Indies `A’ overhauled the visitors first innings score.

Guyana’s Leon Johnson was also eyeing a century ending yesterday’s play on 80 not out while West Indies test discard Kraigg Brathwaite made 37.
