The article ‘Airy Hall accident leaves several persons hospitalized,’ published in the Monday, August 19, 2013 edition of the Stabroek News, erroneously reported that Clement Brusche was the driver of the car and was speaking on his cell phone at the time of the collision with another car. Brusche was in fact a passenger in the car. National basketball player Royston Silas, 34, the driver of the vehicle, remains a patient in the High Dependency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital where he is recovering from internal injuries. Silas and Brusche were returning to Georgetown from Berbice when they collided with a car at Airy Hall. Those in the second car were identified as Al Seegobin, Ishwar Bakridi, Maharani Bakridi, Vinod Bakridi, Sanjay Bakridi, Andrew Kevin and Bibi Seegobin. Stabroek News regrets the error.
