Bound body of Pomeroon farmer found in river

The body of a 27-year-old farmer was on Friday fished out of the Bonasika Creek, Essequibo River after he was missing for the past several weeks.

The bound, decomposing body of Anthony Evans, of Pomeroon, Region Two was transported to Parika after the discovery and then to the Ezekiel Funeral Parlour.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted on Monday.
