Ansa McAl continued their sponsorship of local sport on Tuesday by donating an undisclosed sum to the national U17 Women’s team for their upcoming Caribbean Football Union (CFU) World Cup Qualifier.
Presented at the company’s headquarters in Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara, National Association for Women Football (NAWF) President and Guyana Football Federation (GFF) executive committee member Vanessa Dickens said: “On behalf of the GFF, we greatly appreciate the sponsorship towards the U17 World Cup qualification and we look forward for more sponsors for women’s football.”
Lucozade Brand Manger, Sunesh Maikoo stated:“We at Ansa McAl are happy to be a part of energizing the team and that Lucozade will continue to energize all sports.”
Under the stewardship of GFF Technical Development Officer, the team is scheduled to take part in the aforementioned tournament from August 19-26, 2013 in the Dominican Republic.
