Guyana will contribute US$100,000 to the Government of St Lucia, US$100,000 to the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines and US$75,000 to the Government of Dominica to assist in their recovery efforts following flooding and deaths, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday.
All three countries suffered severe damage from flooding and landslides over the Christmas holidays. Lives were also lost in St Vincent and St Lucia.
