A man was yesterday fined by Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Charity Magistrate’s Court for unlawful wounding.
On December 25, 2013, Lincoln Melville,19, of Charity unlawfully wounded Romona Ramcharran. He pleaded guilty to the charge read to him and was fined a sum of $50,000 or 6 months in jail. According to the facts, Ramcharran’s husband and the defendant had an argument and they started to fight. Ramcharran stepped in to part the fight and was hit above her eye and bitten on her hand.
