Fruta Conquerors teams suffer mixed fortunes

Fruta Conquerors Football Clubs suffered mixed fortunes when the curtain came down on the Frank Watson memorial football tournament Thursday night at the Georgetown Football Club ground.

Fruta Conquerors’ U14 side lost the final 1-2  by sudden death penalty to Western Tigers while the U-16 team defeated Pele 2-0 with Nehemiah Gomes netting both goals.

Gomes was adjudged the Best Offensive Player of the tournament for which he received an Iphone while his teammate, Jeremy Garrett was the Most Valuable Player in the U-16 category for which he received a laptop.

Malachi Adonis of Western Tigers was the MVP in the  U-14 category and he too received a laptop computer while Pele’s Orin Moore, was adjudged the best U-16 defender.

Tyrace Tanner of Western Tigers was declared the best U-14 defender and he too received a laptop computer while Delon Clarke was adjudged the best offensive player in the U-14 category.
