Man who lost arm in crash in stable condition

Kevin Griffith, the man who lost his right arm in an accident late Monday night, is in a stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the accident remain sketchy.

However, information reaching this publication indicated that Griffith had crashed into a motionless car after he lost control of his motorcycle as he proceeded west along Norton Street between Victor and Chapel streets.

Besides the lost arm, Griffith, who is in his early thirties, also sustained abrasions about the body.

According to the man’s family, he has been slipping in and out of consciousness since his admission to the hospital.
