I was very disappointed on Thursday, March 27 , when at approximately 19.00hrs while I was listening to an interesting interview with President Donald Ramotar on NCN the duty announcer suddenly cut the interview to put on a paid programme called ‘Sail On,’ and never said if the interview would continue later.
This type of action by the duty announcer would never have taken place under past programme managers, since any interview or programme involving the President takes priority over all other programmes. This is total disrespect to the President and the listeners and should not be allowed to happen again.
