GWI in an emergency notice is advising customers of Georgetown of a service disruption from 11 hours to 16 hours (4PM), today September 11, due to a significant breakage on the main transmission line providing water service to the city.
GWI teams are currently working to restore normal service in the swiftest manner possible and customers will be informed of progress, the notice said.
The company regrets any inconvenience caused and wishes to assure customers that all measures are being executed to restore service.
