The month of 1st Dhul Hijja 1435 AH will be observed today and the 9th of Zul Hijja, the day of Arafa will be observed on Saturday October 4, 2014, the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) said in a press release yesterday.
Issuing its ‘Moon Notice’, CIOG said that as a result, Eid ul Adha, (10th Dhul Hijja) will be celebrated on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
