Two injured after car flips into creek at Abrams Zuil

A car yesterday turned turtle after the driver lost control of it causing it to flip into a creek along the Abrams Zuil Public Road, Essequibo Coast.

According to information, the accident occurred at around 7 am. Avinash Ram, age 28, was the driver of the vehicle and Moneshwar Chandardeo, age 22, of Affiance Village was the only passenger in the car at the time of the accident.

This newspaper was told that the driver was proceeding to Affiance when he lost control of the motor vehicle causing it to topple a few times before it landed in the Abrams Zuil Creek.

Speaking with Stabroek News, one eyewitness said that it was raining heavily when the accident occurred and public-spirited residents quickly assisted the men and they were rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital where they were admitted as patients. The car was later pulled out from the Creek.

Ram sustained injuries to his hands and head while Chandardeo suffered internal injuries.
