At about 1200h today, police say that Shaheed Yusuff, 6 years, of Farm, EBE, ran out of a yard at Parika, EBE, on to the main road and was struck down by an oncoming motor car. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
