At about 1930h on Wednesday, police say that a motor lorry was proceeding over the Mowasi Bridge at Konawaruk, Potaro, when one of the rear wheels slipped off the bridge and the vehicle toppled into the river.
Stephen Culley, 24 years, of Soesdyke, EBD, who was in the vehicle is reported missing and feared drowned, police say.
