Dear Editor,
It is 11.00 pm where I am in the US and just read the statement attributed to Minister of Local Government, Hon. Norman Whittaker not only blaming the M&CC G/T for the flooding of Georgetown, but asseverating that he did not put enough pressure on the Council.
Clearly the Minister is a product of the Nazi Minister of Propaganda Goebbels.
Fact 1. How can we do more when the money garnered is utilized and denied the Council by the duo of himself and the Town Clerk he installed?
E.g. for this year alone the duo waived $63 Million, bought fancy chairs for $497,000, paid $500,000 to an Attorney all without the knowledge and the required approval of the M&CC.
Happily, the Deputy Mayor who now functions as Mayor, Patricia Chase Green, is capable, competent, willing and able to deal with this shameless, deception and disgusting calumny,
