A post-mortem examination performed on the body of 26-year-old Reena Singh last Monday revealed that she died as a result of a fractured skull.
Singh of Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara died during the early hours of Christmas morning when the driver of the car she was travelling in lost control and smashed into the veranda of a house at Adventure, Essequibo Coast causing a utility pole to injure her.
She left home on Christmas Eve for the Essequibo Coast in order to spend the holidays with her friends but didn’t get to as planned.
Her aunt, Gail Sahadeo told Stabroek News yesterday that the post-mortem revealed that her niece died from a fractured skull. She was cremated on Friday.
