The body of the man who was found on the seawall at Better Hope, East Coast Demerara on Monday afternoon has been identified by relatives.
The body which had been at the Lyken Funeral Parlour for the past two days was identified as 21-year- old Ryan Justin Gobin yesterday.
Reports suggest that the man might have taken his own life. Gobin’s body was discovered late Monday afternoon by residents of Better Hope under a shed. Residents said that when they had found the man he was frothing from the mouth which led to speculation that he had taken some sort of pill or chemical. The residents of the area also said that they had never seen the man before.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be done today.
