The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) held its 37th General Council Meeting (GCM) on Saturday August 1st 2015 at the CIOG’s Secretariat, Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands, Georgetown.
A release from the CIOG said that the GCM was graced with the presence of the leadership of the majority of Masjids from Demerara, Berbice and Essequibo. The GCM is the highest decision making body of the CIOG.
