At about 1600h yesterday, the police say that pedestrian Rudolph Ramsammy, 72 years, of Adventure, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, attempted to cross the roadway at Adventure and was struck down by a motor car. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Linden Hospital Complex.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
