Cook remanded on ganja trafficking charge

A cook who is accused of trafficking cannabis was on Friday remanded to prison.

Davis Cole, 39 of Lot 102 La Parfaite Harmonie, appeared before city magistrate Ann McLennan and was remanded to prison on the charge that on May 22nd, at Mackenzie, Linden, he had in his possession 850 grammes of cannabis for trafficking.

No details about the charge were given to the court.

Cole pleaded not guilty but was refused bail and the matter was transferred to the Linden Magistrate’s Court, when it will be called on August 26th.
