Harris slumps to fourth round TKO against Colon

US-based Guyanese Vivian Harris suffered his second successive technical knockout (TKO) defeat and 11th career loss on Friday against undefeated Prichard Colon (16-0) at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Canada.

Puerto Rican Colon, 22, cornered Harris and unleashed a brutal combination in the fourth round of their junior middleweight bout, sending the 37 year-old to the canvas. The badly hurt Harris barely made it to his feet at the count of 10, prompting the referee to wisely wave off the fight.

Harris, a former World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight champion might now be thinking of hanging up his gloves after losing eight of his past 12 fights, seven within the distance.
