A Kuru Kururu man, who was shot multiple times about the body last evening, is now an admitted patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
Wounded is Mark Evans, of Kuru Kururu, Linden-Soesdyke Highway. When Stabroek News visited the hospital, Evans was said to be undergoing emergency surgery to remove bullets lodged about his body.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were unclear.
