RHTYSC five overs-a-side cricket tournament set for Friday

The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) fresh off their highly successful Busta Champion of Champions cricket tournament will turn their attention towards the staging of another tournament set for Friday at the Area ‘H’ Ground, Berbice.

Twelve (12) teams; Young Warriors, Courtland, Fyrish, Chesney, Albion, Tamarind Root, Rose Hall Town ‘A’, Rose Hall Town ‘B’, Block 4 Tain, Whim, Yakusari and No. 19, are expected to take part in the five-overs-aside cricket tournament.

The winning team will take home $70,000.00 and a trophy while the runners up will receive $30,000.00 and a trophy. The losing semifinalist will receive $20,000.00 and a trophy.

Three teams have already named their squad for the encounter and they are :-Whim National Sports Club- Arun Thakordeen, Kunoal Deonarine, Arnold Deosarran ,Tulsie Charam, lTameshwar Harinarine, Deraj Venkiah, Tyron Tilkuran, Umarnauth Sookshine, Kumar Mootain, Yougindra Sookhnanan, Marlon Ramoutar, Dharmendra Balkarran, Arvin Ramsarran, Navindra Deonarine and Mahindra Charan.
