Roy McArthur for Canada-Honduras qualifier

Guyana’s FIFA Referee Assessor Roy McArthur will depart local shores shortly for Canada to assess in a group-A matchup between Canada and Honduras in round four of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.

The match which will be held on Friday November 13th, will be staged at the BC Place Facility in British Columbia. McArthur will oversee the officiating crew featuring Jamaicans Valdin Legister, Ricardo Morgan, Kedlee Powell and Karl Tyrell.

McArthur who officiated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match between Honduras and Netherlands Antilles, assessed the 2015 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match between Aruba and Barbados on June 10.

Previously, the veteran official performed duties as assessor in the CONCACAF U20 event in Jamaica in January, in group-4 of the CFU Club Championship in Haiti in April and in the final of the CFU Club Championship in Trinidad and Tobago.
