The evergreen Rawle Gittens was the difference on the night, scoring in the 88th minute to ensure his side retain the coveted championship and remain unbeaten for the third successive year.

With the matchup seemingly destined for extra time, Gittens, while lurking within the penalty box, slotted his effort past the goalkeeper, after latching onto a cross from the right side of the field.

With the win, Federal Winners Connection will pocket $800,000 and maintain the championship trophy while Silver Shattas will receive $500,000 and the corresponding accolade. In the third place matchup, Topp XX downed Net-rockers 2-0.

Oswald Benjamin and Collie Hercules netted to seal the $300,000 cash prize and trophy while Net Rockers are to receive $200,000 and a trophy. The presentation of team and individual prizes will take place shortly.
