I would like to personally thank Mr Khurshid Sattaur the past Commissioner General of the Guyana Revenue Authority for his invaluable knowledge of taxes which unreservedly he imparted to me, especially during my attachment in the Field Audit Division and Communication Unit. One of Mr Sattaur’s outstanding virtues is that he is a meticulous and insightful accountant. He has an encyclopaedic, state-of-the-art knowledge of taxes and has guided me through the depth and complexity of this subject for which I am very grateful. His ability to master this skill is founded on a gift of a formidable brain which he cultivated as a former scholar at Queen’s College.
I would like to wish him all the best, and to thank him once again for all the knowledge shared.
