This was confirmed by Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum who told Stabroek News that another man is also in custody assisting with investigations while Timothy Asher Morrison remains on the run.

The police on Friday issued a wanted bulletin for Harris called ‘Shawny’ or ‘Bruk Up’ and Morrison, 26, of Lot 40 Bougainvillea Park, East Bank Demerara.

This came two days after three suspects were charged with the crime.

Eon Campbell, Sean Aaron and Kennard Jabar were charged last Wednesday with robbing tellers Raywanttie Lall and Latchmie Mohabir of $2,075,900 in cash and security guard Shirley Lucas of a .32 Taurus revolver.

They were remanded to prison by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, who transferred the matter to Vigilance Magistrate’s Court for February 9.

Four men, one of whom was armed with a gun, had entered the bank and held up the lone private security guard on duty and took away her .32 service revolver.

During the attack, which lasted for about five minutes, the men then held up the two tellers, grabbing over $2 million in cash and escaping in a waiting car bearing false registration plate PNN 8984.
